One Last Mountain
Before surrendering to Panama City's skyline, we'll make one final escape into nature. El Valle sits inside an enormous volcanic caldera, surrounded by green ridges, waterfalls and hiking trails. It's a fitting final wilderness chapter for the FJ80: wake early, climb into the hills and look back across a landscape that feels impossibly far removed from where this leg began.
The Land Cruiser gets one final road inspection here. Fluids. Tires. Brakes. Suspension. Wheel bearings. Recovery equipment. We clean the cabin and organize the gear accumulated across thousands of miles. Then we slow down, find somewhere quiet and allow ourselves one last early night.
