This is a non-guided caravan designed to promote safety in numbers while following a proven route filled with incredible destinations, remote experiences, and unforgettable scenery for everyone involved.
Nov 6 - Border Crossing to San Felipe
Tecate to Pete’s Camp
The adventure officially begins at the Tecate Border Crossing. We’ll cross into Baja together as a crew before heading south along the coast toward San Felipe. The first night sets the tone for the entire expedition—ocean air, campfires, and the excitement of finally being on the road with the caravan.
Nov 7 — Into Punta Final
Leaving San Felipe for Punta Final
We leave civilization behind and begin pushing deeper into Baja’s remote coastline. Long dirt roads, untouched beaches, and endless desert landscapes lead us to Punta Final, where the Sea of Cortez becomes our backdrop for another unforgettable night under the stars.
Nov 8 — Secret Cove Expedition
Punta Final to a Hidden Sea Lion Cove
This stretch of Baja feels completely untouched. We’ll travel to a remote cove where hundreds of sea lions gather along the shoreline. It’s wild, loud, and unlike anything most people have ever experienced. Just remember—no swimming here… the sharks call these waters home too.
Nov 9 — Bahia Concepción Escape
Camping Along Bahía Concepción
Today brings one of the most scenic drives of the expedition as we arrive along the shores of Bahía Concepción. Crystal-clear water, remote beaches, and hidden coastal camps make this one of the most relaxing and beautiful nights of the entire journey.
Nov 10 — The Hidden Gem
Secret Camp Location
This is the stop everyone talks about after the trip is over. A completely hidden campsite deep within Baja that we keep off the public itinerary for a reason. No spoilers. No geotags. Just know this may become your favorite campsite you’ve ever experienced.
Nov 11 — Arrival in La Paz
Reset Day Before Cabo
The caravan arrives in La Paz for a well-earned reset. This is where the group begins to branch out a bit—some travelers will stay in privately booked Airbnbs, others will explore the city before making their way toward Cabo independently the following day.
Nov 12–14 — Baja 1000 Week
Cabo San Lucas
The crew reunites in Cabo for one of the most legendary off-road events in the world. These days are dedicated to race festivities, exploring Cabo, connecting with the off-road community, and celebrating the journey that brought us all here. Accommodations during this portion are self-booked and fully flexible depending on your travel style.
Nov 14–16 — The Journey Home Begins
Splitting Routes Through Baja
After Cabo, the expedition shifts into return mode. Some groups will take alternate routes north while others explore additional sections of Baja before regrouping later in the trip. This is where the expedition becomes even more adventurous, giving travelers flexibility while still maintaining the spirit of the caravan.
Nov 16 — Regroup in San Ignacio
Lunch Stop in San Ignacio → Overnight in Guerrero Negro
We regroup in the historic oasis town of San Ignacio for lunch before continuing north into Baja Norte. The evening ends in Guerrero Negro, a quiet desert town that serves as the gateway to the next stage of the return journey.
Nov 17 — Volcano Base Camp
The Long Drive North
This is the biggest driving day of the expedition, with more than seven hours on the road. But the payoff is worth every mile. Our destination is a remote campsite at the base of a dormant volcano—one of the most dramatic campsites of the entire trip. Due to limited space, this stop will split into two groups, with priority placement given to the first registered vehicles.
Nov 18 — Baja Norte Freedom Day
Ensenada • Valle de Guadalupe • Border Return Options
The caravan begins its final stretch north. Some travelers will spend the evening enjoying Ensenada’s coastal energy, while others may choose the wineries and food scene of Valle de Guadalupe. Others may push directly toward the border depending on their schedules and route plans.
Nov 19 — Border Crossings & Farewells
Return to the United States
The expedition officially comes to an end as the group begins crossing back into the United States. After thousands of miles, remote camps, and unforgettable memories, this is where we say goodbye—or more accurately… see you on the next adventure.
